Courses and access

What is Openbox?

Openbox is an online learning platform for practical courses, guided learning paths, progress tracking, and course completion records.

Can I buy one course without a membership?

Yes. Individual courses can be purchased separately. A single course purchase gives the learner lifetime access to that course and future updates to that course.

What is included with All-Access Membership?

An active All-Access Membership unlocks the published course library while the membership is active. It is designed for learners or teams that expect to take multiple courses over time.

Can I review course details before purchasing?

Yes. Course pages are designed to show the topic, description, learning structure, and access option before checkout.

Dashboard and completion records

What does the learner dashboard show?

The dashboard shows unlocked courses, progress, membership status, guided curricula when assigned, and transcript-style training history.

What appears in Training History?

Training History shows course transcript records, current progress, completed lessons, assessment status, completion dates, and certificate IDs when available.

Do courses include assessments?

Some courses may include knowledge checks or final assessments. Passing requirements are set by the course or curriculum configuration.

Will completed courses show on outside LMS transcripts?

For qualified enterprise setups, Openbox can support completion exports or webhook coordination so completion records can be shared with an outside LMS workflow.

Enterprise training

Can enterprise buyers assign course paths?

Yes. Admins can create guided curricula, add courses in order, and assign those curricula to learners. Assigned courses can be unlocked automatically.

Can Openbox support teams or departments?

Yes. Openbox is built to support individual learners, teams, departments, and enterprise training programs with structured access and completion visibility.

Can Openbox replace our LMS?

Openbox can operate as a focused course platform. For organizations that already use an LMS, Openbox can coordinate completion records instead of replacing the entire LMS.

Billing and support

How are payments processed?

Payments are processed through Stripe. Openbox does not store full payment card details in the application.

Can I manage membership billing?

Membership billing can be managed through the secure Stripe billing portal when a Stripe customer record is attached to the learner account.
