Terms of Use

Terms for learning with Openbox.

These terms explain the basic rules for using Openbox courses, memberships, dashboards, completion records, and enterprise training features.

Last updated: July 4, 2026

Using Openbox

Openbox provides online courses, memberships, learner dashboards, progress tracking, assessments, completion records, and enterprise training tools.

By using Openbox, you agree to use the platform lawfully, keep account credentials secure, and provide accurate account and billing information.

Accounts and access

Course access may be provided through an individual course purchase, an active All-Access Membership, an enterprise assignment, or an administrative enrollment.

You are responsible for activity under your account. Accounts may not be shared, resold, transferred, or used to bypass course access controls.

Individual course purchases

An individual course purchase provides lifetime access to the purchased course for the purchasing account, including future updates to that course when available.

Lifetime access applies to the course purchased, not to the full Openbox library, membership features, or unrelated future courses.

All-Access Membership

An active All-Access Membership provides access to the published course library while the membership remains active and in good standing.

Memberships may be offered monthly or annually. If a membership ends, subscription-based access to the full library may end, but individually purchased courses remain available according to the individual purchase terms.

Payments and billing

Payments are processed through Stripe. Prices, taxes, renewal terms, discounts, and billing options may vary based on the checkout page or enterprise agreement.

Billing management may be handled through the Stripe billing portal when available. Failed payments, cancellations, or expired subscriptions may affect course access.

Enterprise assignments and records

Enterprise customers may assign guided curricula, track learner progress, and coordinate completion records with external LMS workflows.

Enterprise training requirements, deadlines, reporting, and learner obligations may also be governed by the learner's organization or a separate enterprise agreement.

Course content and intellectual property

Course materials, videos, text, assessments, designs, logos, and platform content are owned by Openbox or its licensors.

You may use course materials for your own authorized learning. You may not copy, download, record, publish, share, resell, scrape, or redistribute course content without written permission.

Assessments and completion records

Some courses may include lesson completion tracking, knowledge checks, assessments, certificates, or transcript-style records.

Completion records reflect platform activity and configured course requirements. They are not professional licenses, legal credentials, compliance guarantees, or official certifications unless a course or enterprise agreement expressly says otherwise.

Acceptable use

You may not interfere with platform security, attempt unauthorized access, share paid access, abuse video playback, reverse engineer protected features, upload harmful content, or use Openbox in a way that disrupts the service.

Openbox may suspend or restrict access when needed to protect learners, content, payment systems, security, or platform operations.

Professional guidance

Openbox courses are designed for learning and professional development. Course content does not replace legal, compliance, HR, security, medical, financial, or other professional advice.

Organizations and learners should consult qualified advisors when training relates to regulated obligations or organization-specific requirements.

Changes to these terms

Openbox may update these terms as the platform, course library, membership options, or enterprise features evolve.

Continued use of Openbox after updates means you accept the updated terms.
